2017 UK show reviews:
“A triumphant performance charged with tragedy” The Evening Standard *****
“Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds used to be a great live act. Tonight, they are phenomenal.” The Line Of Best Fit
“A sense of awe rings around the O2 as the Bad Seeds leave the stage, lifetime Cave fans shocked at quite how magnificently the band have mutated.”Loud & Quiet
2017 US show reviews:
“There was murder, bloodshed, weeping and betrayal in these songs, many of which explored the tension between control and the furious abandonment of it. And yet there was hope, and an unfettered adoration and belief in the ideals of romantic love.”Los Angeles Times
“It could be said that Cave himself gets right down to people’s souls—more so than any artist of recent memory. To meet a Nick Cave fan is to meet a disciple. To see a Nick Cave concert is to witness a kind of musical sacrament.”LA Record
“The pain [Nick Cave]’s voice conveys on [Skeleton Tree] is almost too much to bear, but shared with 6,000 disciples experiencing the same feelings it becomes life-affirming…His shows have become true art. And like all great art it is an experience that will transform you and stay with you for years to come.”Forbes
“The people in the pit felt his breath, had their hands guided to his heart, and were often relied on to hold him from the ground. Near the stage, it was the most baroque hardcore show ever conceived. The audience was part of the show. Everything was interactive.”Consequence Of Sound

Hiding All Away – Lovely Creatures: The Best of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds DVD
“There are some people out there who just don’t know where to start with The Bad Seeds. Others know the catalogue better than I do! This release is designed to be a way into three decades of music making. That’s a lot of songs. The songs we have chosen are the ones that have stuck around, for whatever reason. Some songs are those that demand to be played live. Others are lesser songs that are personal favorites of ours. Others are just too big and have too much history to leave out. And there are those that didn’t make it, poor things. They are the ones you must discover by yourselves.”Nick Cave
Lovely Creatures is the most comprehensive overview of the recorded work of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds to date. Spanning thirty years of music from their debut album From Her To Eternity through to Push The Sky Away their 15th studio album, the collection navigates one of the most exhilarating, idiosyncratic and inventive bodies of work created in contemporary music.
Included are long-standing live favorites “Stagger Lee” and “The Mercy Seat”, their hit single from 1995 “Where The Wild Roses Grow” through to recent fan favorites “Jubilee Street” and “We No Who U R”. There are songs that newcomers may only know from their appearance on film and television soundtracks, notably “O Children” (Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Pt. I) and the ubiquitous “Red Right Hand”, most recently familiar to fans of the series Peaky Blinders.
The album was compiled by Nick Cave and founding member Mick Harvey, with help from the current Bad Seeds. Band members past and present raided their personal archives to provide previously unseen photos and memorabilia which have been collected into a beautiful hardcover book, along with a series of original essays. The book is available as part of the limited edition ‘Super Deluxe’ album collection that also comes with a two hour DVD containing rare and unseen archive footage. Lovely Creatures is available in four formats, all featuring personal and rare photographs of the band: Standard CD, Triple LP, Deluxe 3CD with DVD and the Super Deluxe Limited Edition package.
Lovely Creatures was originally intended for release in 2015. Since its postponement the band have recorded and released their highly acclaimed 16th studio album Skeleton Tree.
Lovely Creatures: The Best of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds 1984 – 2014 will be released on May 5th 2017 on BMG in the following formats:
Double CD
2 CDs (21 tracks) with booklet Triple Vinyl
3 Heavyweight 12” vinyl (21 tracks) with a triple gatefold sleeve Deluxe 3CD & DVD
3 CDs (45 tracks) and two hour DVD featuring live performances, rare footage and interviews with a 48 page book Super Deluxe 3CD & DVD with Hardcover Book
Box set comprised of 3 CDs and two hour DVD with a hardcover book containing original essays, candid and personal photos taken by the band family and friends, and reproductions of band memorabilia

One More Time Feeling, the feature film about the making of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ acclaimed album Skeleton Tree, is released today on DVD and 2D and 3D Blu-ray.
Directed by Andrew Dominik (Chopper, The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford), One More Time With Feeling is a stark, fragile and raw documentary. Shot in 3D, colour and black & white, this visually unique film probes the deeply personal circumstances surrounding the making of Skeleton Tree (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ 16th studio album) and features live-in-studio performances by the band.
Originally conceived as a one-night-only screening event in 950 cinemas (across 30 countries simultaneously) on 8th September last year, this extraordinary film has now screened over 1700 times at over 1000 cinemas world-wide, and its initial run was extended over several days as cinemas sold out around the world.
One More Time With Feeling is the first ever non-animated B&W film shot in 3D. On 31st March 2017, this filmic milestone will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and a Limited Edition 3D Blu-ray. All formats of One More Time With Feeling come as two-disc editions, with additional previously unseen footage.
Skeleton Tree, the 16th studio album by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, was released on 9th September 2016, the day after the global premiere of One More Time With Feeling. Skeleton Tree charted at number 1 in 8 countries, has been certified Silver in the UK (BPI), and, according to Metacritic, was the best-reviewed album of 2016.
Recently nominated for a 2017 BRIT Award, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds remain one of the most critically extolled acts working today and have sold over 5 million albums worldwide. Their influence has been profound and far-reaching and they are one of the most powerful and exciting live acts in the world.
