Explosions In The Sky’s triumphant return to the road is already adding dates by popular demand: The band’s April 16 show at San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts Theater sold out in a matter of hours, necessitating the addition of a second date at the venue on April 17.
In other Explosions touring news, Zammuto has been confirmed as support for the upcoming tour. The new project of Nick Zammuto, half of highly acclaimed collage-pop duo The Books and Explosions’ Temporary Residence label mates, will join the tour beginning with its April 5 kick-off in Boulder, CO.
Explosions In The Sky’s 2012 shows expand on an itinerary that has included its biggest ever headline dates–from New York’s Radio City Music Hall to London’s Brixton Academy–and a 2011 debut performance on The Late Show With David Letterman.
