Tokyo Police Club wants YOU to be a Champ. To embrace the spirit of their forthcoming album, due out June 8th via Mom + Pop, the band is calling on their fans: “Challenge us to something. Anything. Ping pong. Baking. Mario. Nerf guns. Hockey. Unicycling. Catching grapes in your mouth. You name it. When we come to your town on tour we’ll make it happen. This summer, it’s on.”
Fans can enter their ideas at TokyoPoliceClub.com… Winners will have access to tickets, merchandise, etc. and the chance to hang with the guys while competing in whatever activity they submitted.
In anticipation of their time on the road together, Passion Pit have also remixed Tokyo Police Club’s ‘Wait Up (Boots of Danger)’. This track, along with the album version, are both available for free download starting today at RcrdLbl.com.
After the Passion Pit tour ends Tokyo Police Club will be embarking on the first headline tour to support Champ. Freelance Whales has been tapped to support them on the tour. See below for all dates.
