Rescued from defunct formats, prised from dark cupboards and brought to light after two decades in cold storage… OKNOTOK will be issued June 23rd on XL Recordings, coinciding (roughly) with the original 1997 release date(s) of Radiohead’s landmark third album OK COMPUTER.
OKNOTOK features the original OK COMPUTER twelve track album, eight B-sides, and the Radiohead completist’s dream: “I Promise,” “Lift,” and “Man Of War.” The original studio recordings of these three previously unreleased and long sought after OK COMPUTER era tracks finally receive their first official issue on OKNOTOK.
All material on OKNOTOK is newly remastered from the original analogue tapes.
The OKNOTOK BOXED EDITION will ship July, featuring a black box emblazoned with a dark image of a burned copy of OK COMPUTER containing three heavyweight 180 gram black 12″ vinyl records and a hardcover book containing more than thirty artworks (many of which have never been seen before) and full lyrics to all the tracks (except the ones that haven’t really got any lyrics). Under this weighty tome are yet more surprises: a notebook containing 104 pages from Thom Yorke’s library of scrawled notes of the time, a sketchbook containing 48 pages of Donwood and Tchock’s ‘preparatory work’ and a C90 cassette mix tape compiled by the band, taken from OK COMPUTER session archives and demo tapes.
Digital formats, double CD, and triple 180g LP versions of the 23 track album will be released widely on June 23rd.
OK COMPUTER was originally released on various dates ranging from May to July 1997. Produced by the band and Nigel Godrich, the album features the singles “Paranoid Android,” “Karma Police,” “Lucky” and “No Surprises,” and is widely cited as one of the greatest works of Radiohead’s–or any artist’s—catalogue. OK COMPUTER was the first Radiohead record to reach #1 in the UK and to be nominated for the Album of the Year GRAMMY. In 2015, The National Recording Registry selected OK COMPUTER to be preserved in the Library of Congress as a recording that has proven “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.”
Hiding All Away – Lovely Creatures: The Best of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds DVD
“There are some people out there who just don’t know where to start with The Bad Seeds. Others know the catalogue better than I do! This release is designed to be a way into three decades of music making. That’s a lot of songs. The songs we have chosen are the ones that have stuck around, for whatever reason. Some songs are those that demand to be played live. Others are lesser songs that are personal favorites of ours. Others are just too big and have too much history to leave out. And there are those that didn’t make it, poor things. They are the ones you must discover by yourselves.”Nick Cave
Lovely Creatures is the most comprehensive overview of the recorded work of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds to date. Spanning thirty years of music from their debut album From Her To Eternity through to Push The Sky Away their 15th studio album, the collection navigates one of the most exhilarating, idiosyncratic and inventive bodies of work created in contemporary music.
Included are long-standing live favorites “Stagger Lee” and “The Mercy Seat”, their hit single from 1995 “Where The Wild Roses Grow” through to recent fan favorites “Jubilee Street” and “We No Who U R”. There are songs that newcomers may only know from their appearance on film and television soundtracks, notably “O Children” (Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Pt. I) and the ubiquitous “Red Right Hand”, most recently familiar to fans of the series Peaky Blinders.
The album was compiled by Nick Cave and founding member Mick Harvey, with help from the current Bad Seeds. Band members past and present raided their personal archives to provide previously unseen photos and memorabilia which have been collected into a beautiful hardcover book, along with a series of original essays. The book is available as part of the limited edition ‘Super Deluxe’ album collection that also comes with a two hour DVD containing rare and unseen archive footage. Lovely Creatures is available in four formats, all featuring personal and rare photographs of the band: Standard CD, Triple LP, Deluxe 3CD with DVD and the Super Deluxe Limited Edition package.
Lovely Creatures was originally intended for release in 2015. Since its postponement the band have recorded and released their highly acclaimed 16th studio album Skeleton Tree.
Lovely Creatures: The Best of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds 1984 – 2014 will be released on May 5th 2017 on BMG in the following formats:
Double CD
2 CDs (21 tracks) with booklet Triple Vinyl

NEW YORK MAGAZINE (“Genius…the best thing he’s put out in a decade”), ROLLING STONE (“Personal and urgent…close to the magnum opus of his dreams”), ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY (“the poet laureate of unadulterated heartbreak, a master chronicler of the endless shapes and colors of romantic pain”) and the ASSOCIATED PRESS hailed Prisoner as the multiple Grammy nominee’s best in 10 years or more, while PEOPLE noted “even when his lyrics cling to loss, Adams lets in light with melody,” and The AV CLUB observed “He sounds like he’s savoring how full of life his music is, no matter what it took to make it so. He hasn’t just turned misery into art; he’s turned it into joy.”
Ryan Adams is currently in the midst of the Prisoner world tour, which swings through New York next week, beginning with a May 1 stop at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert followed by back to back sold out shows at the Beacon Theater May 2 and 3. Paul McCartney arrived in Japan this week to scenes of Beatlemania at Tokyo Haneda Airport. This week the mania continued as he played his first show of 2017 at the iconic Budokan venue. The Budokan came to international notoriety when Paul first visited with The Beatles in 1966. That year they performed five concerts all 30 minutes in length. In contrast Paul performed an epic show of over two hours with a set featuring some of the most loved songs in the world. ‘I Wanna Be Your Man’ and ‘Yesterday’ were the only two songs that Paul played in the set that featured in the Beatles setlist. Paul drove the sold out audience wild, speaking to the crowd in Japanese. The set also included some songs that Paul had previously never performed in Japan such as ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ and ‘Love Me Do’.
Japanese press described the night as “another legendary performance”.
Paul also plays three sold out shows at The Tokyo Dome this week – to 150,000 fans.

Paul McCartney has added a massive new run of U.S. dates to his One On One tour.
The newly announced dates kick off July 5th at Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena—Paul’s first Miami appearance since his Up & Coming Tour hit Sun Life Stadium in 2010—then head northwest to Tampa, where Paul will play July 10th at the Amalie Arena, returning to the city for the first time since his 2005 US Tour. From there, One On One takes Paul to three cities and venues he’s never played before: July 13th at the Infinity Energy Arena in Duluth MN, July 15th at CenturyLink Center in Bossier City LA, and July 19th at the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita KS. On July 21st Paul plays the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines IA followed by a July 23rd stop at CenturyLink Center in Omaha NE, returning to both cities for the first time since 2005’s US Tour. The tour’s July run concludes on the 25th at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, Tinley Park in Tinley Park IL—Paul’s first appearance in the region since his now-legendary 2015 Lollapalooza headline.
One On One’s 2017 U.S. run will resume with Paul’s first ever show at the Prudential Center in Newark NJ on September 11th.Paul will then take up residence in New York City, playing his first full show at Madison Square Garden since 2005 on September 15th, then getting back to the scene of his unforgettable 2013 Brooklyn shows to play the Barclays Center on September 19th. Paul will then head upstate to make his debut appearance in Syracuse NY, playing the Carrier Dome on September 23rd, followed on September 26th by Paul’s first show at Long Island’s NYCB Live’s Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum since 2002’s Driving USA Tour. One On One’s fall dates will draw to a close October 1st at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena, Paul’s first show at the brand new venue and first visit to the Motor City since 2015.
Paul McCartney’s One On One tour opened April 13, 2016 with Paul’s debut concert in Fresno CA. The show, which opened with Paul’s first performance of “A Hard Day’s Night” since The Beatles last played it 1965, drew instant and unanimous raves from near (“McCartney’s abundance of natural charm and charisma made this sold-out arena show feel and more like a really big piano bar”—The Fresno Bee) and far (“nearly three hours of music that moved gracefully from the intimate to the explosive… the emphasis never drifted from the music, ranging from generational anthems to post-Beatles deep cuts”—Rolling Stone). One On One has since logged 36 shows and counting, spanning the globe from North and South America to the UK and Europe and a current run of Japanese dates. Venues have ranged from packed stadiums and arenas to one of the most intimate gigs of Paul’s solo career to date at the 300-capacity Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace in tiny Pioneertown, CA. One On One’s 2016 run wrapped up with two headlining sets at the historic Desert Trip festival in Indio, CA, which featured surprise guest appearances from Neil Young and Rihanna—a fitting coda to a tour that featured Paul joined on encores by the likes of Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic in Seattle, Jimmy Fallon in Vancouver, and both Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski at a record-breaking show at Boston’s Fenway Park.
The Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show—and so much more: Nearly three hours worth of the greatest moments from the last 50 years of music, dozens of songs that have formed the soundtracks of our lives. Paul and his band have played an unparalleled range of venues and locations: outside the Coliseum in Rome, Moscow’s Red Square, Buckingham Palace, The White House, a free show in Mexico for over 400,000 people, the last ever show at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park where The Beatles played their final concert 1966, and even one performance broadcast live into Space! Featuring Paul’s band of the last 10+ years – Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson(guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (drums) – the show is never anything short of life-changing.
As with every Paul McCartney tour, One On One features dozens of classics from the most beloved catalog in popular music, spanning Paul’s entire career–as a solo artist, member of Wings and of course as a Beatle—and no shortage of surprises. State of the art audio and video technology ensure an unforgettable experience from every seat in the house: Massive screens, lasers, fireworks and, of course, a staggering selection of the best songs ever written or performed make every Paul McCartney show a once in a lifetime event that transcends and elevates the potential of live music.

Arriving last March to his highest U.S. chart numbers to date and most over the top critical notices since 1977’s The Idiot and Lust For Life, Iggy Pop’s GRAMMY-nominated Post Pop Depression was an undeniable landmark of a singular career.
Upon Post Pop Depression’s release, the album’s co-creator Joshua Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age enlisted QOTSA cohorts Dean Fertita and Troy Van Leeuwen, Matt Helders of Arctic Monkeys and journeyman Matt Sweeney to realize the next phase of the Post Pop Depression initiative: The formation of the best band ever to back Iggy on a solo tour.
Now with the Record Store Day special release of POST POP DEPRESSION: LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL (Rekords Rekords/Loma Vista/Caroline International), the penultimate show of that equally ecstatically received limited run of historic dates is now given the ultimate class treatment: a limited, number 180 gram triple vinyl book bound edition completed with a 16-page book featuring exclusive photos from the show that moved UK critics to rave:
“as downright brilliant a rock n roll show as it is possible to see”—The Independent
“one of the most memorable gigs of the year… the performance of a lifetime”—NME
“a five star spectacle that proves just how peerless Iggy Pop is”—The Guardian
For those who were not among the few thousand blessed to experience this once in a lifetime performance live, the POST POP DEPRESSION: LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL triple vinyl Record Store Day special edition now offers a worthy alternative. And for those who were, what better way to relive those sublime sounds…
