CD and LP Pre-Sale live at:
Lyrical storyteller and “international Dust Bowl-blues playboy” (RIVERFRONT TIMES) Pokey LaFarge has teamed with RollingStone.com to unveil the video “Central Time,” the first single from his self-titled album out June 4 on Third Man Records.
Directed by frequent Third Man collaborator Jo McCaughey, with set design and Lomokino photography by Rachel Briggs, the video features whimsical scenes of Pokey and the band playing at St. Louis venue Off Broadway, as well as footage of Pokey and his band members in and around the city. Incorporating digital and Lomokino footage, the “Central Time” video as playful and charming as the song itself.
Pokey”s self-titled album was produced by Old Crow Medicine Show frontman Ketch Secor. Pre-order your CD or vinyl copy NOW:
