Jack White has confirmed shows in Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles bookending the April 24 release of his debut album Blunderbuss on Third Man Records/Columbia. A limited number of pre-sale tickets to this event will be available to Third Man Records Vault members tomorrow at 9 AM ET and to American Express Cardmembers starting at 12 noon ET tomorrow. He will also be performing at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles on April 30, a limited number of pre-sale tickets for this show will also be available to Third Man Records Vault members tomorrow at 9 AM PT, with tickets for both shows going on sale to the public tomorrow at 3 pm local time. To commemorate these events all attendees will receive the gift of an exclusive 18 x 24 inch poster designed by Rob Jones from a photograph by Jo McCaughey.
In addition to these intimate shows celebrating the release of the record, Jack has also signed on as one of the headliners of Lollapalooza 2012, taking place August 3-5 in Chicago. See below for a full list of Jack White live dates.
Blunderbuss is currently available for pre-order at iTunes, where the album can be streamed in its entirety beginning 9 PM PT at http://smarturl.it/blunderbussstream. Also available for purchase at iTunes, and on vinyl from finer recorded music merchants like jackwhiteIII.com andthirdmanrecords.com, are Blunderbuss singles “Love Interruption” and “Sixteen Saltines”–the thoroughly unsettling AG Rojas-directed video for which provides a magnification of the last frontier of urban wasteland and its dispossessed youth left to indulge any impulse, and was likened by Rolling Stone to “The Hunger Games with guitars.”
