nasty little man is pleased to welcome Electric Guest to its roster and to announce the band”s first ever New York City performances: The Los Angeles-based duo, comprised of Berkeley native Asa Taccone and fellow member Matthew Compton, and backed by a variety of live supporting players, will make its live debut in NYC with a series of four shows during this month”s CMJ Music Marathon. The dates and set times are as follows:

10/21 – New York, Mercury Lounge – 8pm
10/22 – Brooklyn, Public Assembly * BROOKLYN VEGAN PARTY
Having played only a handful of shows in their headquarters of Los Angeles, Electric Guest has already generated sufficient word of mouth and buzz in recent months to propel them to #13 on KCRW”s Top 50:
More recently, the band signed a deal with Downtown Records, who will release Electric Guest”s Danger Mouse-produced full length debut in spring 2012.
