OCTAHEDRON OUT JUNE 23 ON WARNER BROS
TWO NEW TRACKS TO STREAM The Mars Volta has announced plans to have 10-15 fans to host exclusive listenings in their homes for the band’s new album, Octahedron in advance of its June 23 release on Warner Bros.
Fans must submit an entry vying to host one of the listening parties. Entries can be submitted in any form from youtube videos, illustrations, writings, to anything that expresses why the entrant deserves to be a “Host.” “Official Hosts” will have their party pics posted on The Mars Volta’s website (thebedlam.net). One host and a guest will also be awarded a chance to see The Mars Volta perform anywhere in the US. Entries must be submitted by June 3rd to OctahedronParty@gmail.com
Mars Volta fans in southern California will also have a shot at hearing some of the new material early when the band plays the Majestic Ventura Theater on June 9. Tickets to the one-off performance will go on sale Saturday, May 30 at 11 a.m.
